This website (the “Site”) is the personal real estate website of Maggie Zhao, a real estate agent affiliated with Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California (“I,” “me,” or “my”). This Privacy Policy describes how I collect, use, and share personal information when you visit the Site or contact me through it.

This Policy applies only to this Site. It does not apply to other websites or services that may be linked from this Site, including the websites of Christie’s International Real Estate or third-party listing platforms, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

If you contact me through the Site — for example, by submitting a contact or inquiry form, or by emailing or calling the contact details listed on the Site — I collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message, such as the property or services you are interested in.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the Site and its hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. If the Site uses basic analytics, this information is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the Site (for example, which pages are most viewed). This information is not used to identify you personally.

2. How I Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about real estate services you have requested;
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Site;
• To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, including those that apply to licensed real estate professionals in California; and

I will not send you marketing communications unless you have asked for them, and you may opt out of any such communications at any time by following the instructions in the message or contacting me directly.

3. How I Share Your Information

I do not sell your personal information. I may share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. Companies that help operate this Site and my business — such as website hosting, email, and form-processing providers — may process your information on my behalf, solely to provide those services.
• My brokerage. If your inquiry leads to a real estate transaction or requires brokerage involvement, relevant information may be shared with Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California as required to provide services to you and to meet professional obligations.
• Legal compliance and safety. Where I believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, me, or others.

4. Cookies

The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Site or its service providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies required for the Site to function and, if analytics are enabled, limited cookies to measure aggregate Site usage. Most browsers allow you to remove or reject cookies through your settings; doing so will not affect your ability to read this Site.

5. Data Retention

I retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — for example, for the duration of our correspondence or professional relationship — and as required to meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations that apply to real estate professionals. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, and this Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 18, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If I learn that a child has provided personal information through the Site, I will delete it.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), provides you with rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal information collected about you;
• Correct personal information that is inaccurate;
• Delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law; and

In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information collected through this Site are limited to: identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number, and IP address); the contents of communications you send me; and internet activity information (such as pages viewed on the Site).

I do not sell personal information, and I do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
